In memory of Rudy

My brother, Rudy, like many men who have struggled with alcoholism and other addictions, was able to transform his life. Sadly, he passed away on August 14th 2007 before he could make his dream a reality. Along the road to his recovery, many people in and out of the AA program, extended him a helping hand. While he was putting back the pieces of his shattered life.

His Dream

His dream was to pass on to others what had so freely been given to him during his journey to recovery. Rudy’s goal was to open Sober Living Homes to help others struggling with the disease. That they, like him, could have a safe place to live and work from while they restored their lives.

His Love

Rudy reached out to others by being of service. Having a belief and trust in a higher power, asking to remove his obsessions and restore his sanity. Knowing that with all these right actions, it was still possible to experience the powerlessness of his disease.

His Home

Rudy’s home is a special place, for intentional growth, inside and out. One man’s life and passing, helping others to change one day at a time, one life at a time.
