force and pressure hw problem?
the pressure built up inside a microwave oven is 153000Pa. If the door has an area of .25m^2, what would be the net force acting on the door if someone opened it without relieving the pressure first?
the answer is 1.32e4 N, but for some reason I cannot get it. THe interior volume of the oven is .12 m^3

I feel some information is missing. Is that given pressure the absolute pressure, or the gauge pressure?
You use the word "net force". Am I supposed to consider the reaction force from the door hinge? Additionally, you might be more interested in the "net torque" acting on the door, because the hinge reaction and the pressure build-up rotate the door.
