Can a .22 penetrate "bullet-proof" glass?
I have read that bullet-proof/resistant glass is made to stop high-velocity objects (particularly rounds). Considering a .22 is a low(er)-velocity round, is it possible that the so-called "bullet-proof" glass is vulnerable to this caliber round?
Answer:
Doubt it very much, even with a hardened shell and armour piercing point
bullet proof glass is so sophisticated now, rounds of this calibre and much heavier and faster will all have been tested to exhaustion, more than likely with little effect. Remember! companies who manufacture and sell bullet proof glass have reputations to uphold, they can`t afford One failure.
